Brief
Not every child is lucky enough to have access to a computer. Luminate Education Group asked The Ark Marketing and Media to Leeds City College and the White Rose Academies in their quest to support their students to access learning online while they are unable to attend college.
Solution
We secured thousands of pounds of free advertising- across Leeds- so that they could get their message out to the people of Leeds.
Results
The Ark managed to secure a total of £67,000 worth of out-of-home media advertising space at zero cost (£20,000 of that coverage was live within the first 36 hours of the campaign launch), plus a further £40,000 worth of PR coverage. Overall, the campaign gained 7,469,183 impacts and utilised a wide range of different OOH elements, including a roadside billboard on the M62 motorway – this alone delivered 2,297,820 impacts. The campaign was a great success, and during the period, over 2000 devices were donated and distributed to their students to support remote learning. We received fantastic feedback from our clients, who were very grateful to us for supporting the appeal via creating the innovative strategy of galvanising the support of the media owners to deliver this campaign -
“This is incredible stuff, and I’m so excited to share it with the team.” - Joanne Reynolds, Marketing Operations Manager.
