Brief

Leeds Hospitals Charity approached us after hearing about the work we did for the British Transplant Games. The charity had two demographics that they wanted to target, firstly they wanted us to help promote the Rob Burrow Marathon by targeting runners, as they had 100 places left to fill. They then also wanted us to target potential donors by creating brand awareness piece for Motor Neuron Disease, to help raise funds for their MND centre.

Solution

The deadlines for this campaign were extremely tight, which meant that we pulled together the proposal in a day. Due to the imminent deadlines, we selected a range of digital billboards which meant the sites could go live within a matter of days. The use of digital sites also meant that we could help the charity promote both of their messages to each demographic at no extra cost, alternating between 5 different creatives with two messages on each site.

Results

Record-breaking numbers entered this year's Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, with over 12,000 runners now signed up to take part.

Following on from this amazing response, it has just been announced that the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, will be making a return to the city in 2024.
